Our Story

Prairie Canucks Cards & Collectibles was born from a lifelong passion for collecting and a dream of bringing that excitement home to Weyburn, Saskatchewan. For years, the only option for sports cards or trading card games (TCGs) in our area was a limited shelf at Walmart or an online order with extra shipping costs. We saw a gap ... and decided it was time to fill it.

Now, Prairie Canucks is creating a local space where collectors of all ages can find the cards, supplies, and community they’ve been missing. Whether you’re chasing the next big rookie card, hunting down a rare Pokémon, or just getting started in the hobby, you’ll find a welcoming home here.

Meet the Owner

For over 25 years, I worked as a journeyman machinist - adapting to new technologies, learning CNC programming, and leading projects from the ground up. That career taught me discipline, problem-solving, and a commitment to doing things right.

But beyond the machines and shop floors, my heart has always been in collecting. From hockey cards to trading games, the thrill of finding “the one” never goes away. Now I’m turning that passion into Prairie Canucks Cards & Collectibles - a place where my love for learning, building, and sharing comes together.
